Derek Borders
I began designing flyers for my church using Windows 95 and clip art I found in Print Master Gold Edition. They were awful. Those moments as a teenager began to inspire creativity in me that I didn’t realize I had up until that moment. I attended Oklahoma City Community College, where I worked towards a degree in Graphic Communications.
While attending school, I got my first graphics job at a local sign shop. From there, I moved on to various other design roles with increasing levels of demand. In 2011, I began to increase my work with freelance clients until I could begin working freelance full-time in 2012. Now, with more than two decades of graphic design experience, I can deliver professional results to a variety of clients.
I love approaching a project with fresh eyes and delivering a custom-designed solution. The look on the client's face when you know you’ve exceeded their expectation is my greatest joy.
