Derek Borders
I designed my first church flyers as a teenager on Windows 95, using clip art from Print Master Gold Edition. They were terrible, but those early attempts sparked a creativity I didn’t know I had.
I went on to study Graphic Communications at Oklahoma City Community College and landed my first design job at a local sign shop. From there, I worked in various design roles, each one stretching my skills and deepening my experience. By 2011, my freelance work had grown significantly, and in 2012, I made the leap to run Derek Borders Creative full-time.
Today, with over 20 years of design experience, I provide professional, customized solutions for a wide range of clients. I approach every project with fresh eyes, knowing that great design starts with truly understanding the vision. There’s nothing better than seeing the moment a client realizes we’ve exceeded their expectations. That’s why I do what I do.
